Summary of the interview with David Bizer, Talent Geek at HackFwd

In this first part of the interview, David presents HackFwd pre-seed investment fund. Lars Hinrichs, the founder and former CEO of XING, launched HackFwd in 2010. Lars wanted to create something different to invest in the internet in Europe. The goal of HackFwd is to invest on early projects on which a team between 1 to 3 geeks is working on. The decision-making process is very fast. If you have a prototype you can contact HackFwd to show your idea. Within 72 hours, HackFwd team decide to invest or not in the project. If selected, the team starts a 12 month program during which HackFwd helps the team developing a Beta version of the product and helps them launching the company. The founder team can work all across Europe. You don’t have to move to a specific place. Four times a year, HackFwd team organizes a three days event in Majorca to bring the entire community together. Presentations are available online.
